Questions (ive been away from retail for a while)

I quit retail in december. Didnt play at all for a long long time. Recently been playing on privates... mostly pvp but real casual.

I'm at a point where i am thinking seriously about selling my account, but to do that i figures i would have to sub again for a month anyways. Then i got curious.

What's going on?

I know there was 2.4 patch and a ton more pve crap. ZOMG MORE LOOTS.


- is arena totally dead again? i left at the start of s3. burnt out on bullcrap, finding new teams, etc. at the end of s2, basically arena was dead... only teams under 2100 played... all tearing each other down cuz the top 20-100 would avoid playing

- are these new insta-70 servers decent? BGs and arenas going? teams forming? how many players active? it's about the only reason id want to play and dont you have to pay $20?

- anything new in terms of pvp generally? changes to bgs any good? new halaa shit?

- how are druids, hunters and warlocks atm?

- do i really need to resub to sell my account? where's the best place to figure out my account's value?

What is "subbing" your account?

I messed around on the ptr tourny server when it was up. I guess it's good because everyone gets the exact same gear, so it's more about personal and team skills. There are no BGs/pve content/npcs/world pvp or anything on those servers, it's just arenas.

I only messed around with it on the ptr but yea, arena is literally the only thing you can do on it.

The insta server is the ARENA TOURNAMENT

Why would they put in everything else?

I think Warlocks and Hunters are fine...though I'm sure hunters are bitching about something as usual.

Druids, what the fuck do you think.

Simply put, if you're a druid and you don't have 2k shoulders, you're garbage.

If you sell your account now you'll simply buy another one in Nov, and then you'll have leveling from 1 - 80.

Tse, find a good warrior and 2v2 with him on your lock.

I've been leveling Lock/War teams to 2k to sell, and it's a blast. The games are fast, and you absolutely shit on druids all day long.

Mage/Rogue, Rogue/Rogue, and Priest/Rogue will give you problems, but no comp is perfect.

i have 70 rogue and lock (s2/s3) on horde. i have a 68/70 hunter on alliance.

then i have a lvl 50-60 druid (i forget which). i was toying with leveling him for fun while i look for sales.

i donno. just curios.
