I'm revamping my UI and I can't remember (or seem to find) this mod. It would basically flash big text in the middle of your screen as cooldowns expired, so you would see "Blink Ready!", "Ice Block Ready!", "Trinket Ready!" etc. I found a cooldown countdown timer thing but I can't figure out how to make it announce the cooldown expiration so I don't forget to use shit when it's ready.

OmniCC makes the button have a timer on top of it then noticeably pulses the button so you can see when it's ready. It's nice and minimizes the clutter on/around my toon.

MSBT (Mik's Scrolling Battle Text) has such an option.

I use cooldown bars and JIM for the flashing icon

I use cooldowntimers2, ace2 addon you can adjust the position and size of the pulse message.
CooldownTimers2 - WowAce Wiki (http://www.wowace.com/wiki/CooldownTimers2)

This is a screen shot of it as it fades out with the consecrate image and text, you can adjust how long it takes to fade out, it could be scaled up to cover the whole screen, the text is adjust with a separate setting.

I think if I played a classes that didn't have to buff mid fight, had no heals, no ability to cleanse, I wasn't a tank, didn't have to check to see that everyone in the entire raid had all their buffs from all the other paladins and if I wasn't calling out boss abilities and cool downs on vent I could simplify things a lot.

If I played a rogue I would probably reduce my hud down to a dps meter taking up one side of the screen and 1 action bar, with a threat meter half the size of the mini map... under the dps meter.

 Yeah my warlock UI does not have much in the way of raid status... I have to redo it for my pally tho and I'm not looking forward to adding things.

I know CooldownCount is not what was being asked for, but IMO it is the best cooldown mod - just displays the timeleft on your button.

Ya I have that addon also, basically because the buttons didn't have enough animation to match the rest of my seizure inducing UI.

By the time DR's Scripts became self-aware...
... they had spread into millions of computer servers across the planet.
Ordinary computers in office buildings, dorm rooms, everywhere.
It was software in cyberspace.
There was no system core. It could not be shut down.

Judgment Day.

i just dont know why you would have a combat alert telling you your cooldowns and jim's pulse at the same time overlapping itself

Cooldowntimers2 has the text, I think I adjusted that since the screen shot was taken.

This isn't DR posting this is the combined consciousness of his addons... YOU ARE NOT PREPARED.
