The Pumpkin King 04-22-2008, 12:10 AM If you can't be an orc and can be undead then that's what you roll.
Word.
So what about trade skills? Is that alchemy stone really that badass or are there other trinkets I'm going to get later that are better?
Is tailoring worth it only if I go shadow priest?
Healing cloth is good too. Tailoring will be pretty money till you hit T6 or so (not positive if healing cloth holds up that long but shadow does.)
Osiris 04-22-2008, 03:10 AM A duo that's real easy to get and real hard to beat.
Vial of the Sunwell - Items - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=34471)
Redeemer's Alchemist Stone - Items - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=35750)
Of course, I'm not a healer so I don't know if it's as awesome as I think it is :P

I used this combo for a while. The vial comes real handy for a fight like Bloodboil or Reliquary at mana zero. Also doesn't share cooldowns with any of my holy spells and works when I'm counterspelled in pvp too.
I used this combo until recently I got: Memento of Tyrande - Items - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32496)
Memento + Redeemer's stone = OP.
TheGhost 04-22-2008, 08:31 AM undead is the best period
if its availible as UD, and you go with another race, you are a fucking idiot and some gay RP'er
only exception is warriors, taurens get a small stamina buff, and orcs have a high stun resist
UD priests = no fear, built in fear immunity every 2 min, 2 min PVP trinket, and 3 min fear ward
momento + earring = win
earring and an innvervate make me hard (esp in arena, for you arena folks)
Sir Lucius 04-22-2008, 10:12 AM Paladins have better gear selection, so consider that.
But if you like PVP tanking discipline priest is the way to go.

what earring?

oh my god lol. Nice thing there. Thanks.
JustinCase 04-22-2008, 11:08 AM yea 300 spirit is pretty retarded good
The Pumpkin King 04-23-2008, 04:30 AM I can't believe that the tailoring gear holds up till so late in the game though.
It's tempting to pick tailoring for all that gear...
Technically the best caster DPS robe in the game is now a tailored item.
JustinCase 04-23-2008, 11:22 AM but its bop and from sunwell
The only thing iffy about decking yourself out in full Whitemend/Primal Mooncloth is you'll be lacking in the stam department. But you can probably supplement it with more stat heavy other pieces.
Familiar 04-23-2008, 01:41 PM but its bop and from sunwell
chest patterns are not bop
so you can eventually buy them from guilds
SniperOmega 04-23-2008, 02:17 PM i think priests should be the best healer, but atm i think paladins are better.
had a priest pre-bc and sold a month before the xp came out, fun, but HARD to do anything solo as holy. at least as a paladin holy solo u got plate.
i think priest would be WAY more fun in pvp.
suggesting tailor enchanter priest
The Pumpkin King 04-23-2008, 02:54 PM Yeah, I'm struggling to decide what trade skills I should get...
Herbalism/Alchemy is looking pretty sweet... Tailor/Enchanter is nice too...
Or gathering for cash... Ho he hum hum...
I don't know enough about the game to know how useful crafted gear is in the end game. I know potions will be useful for sure though... I might as well just go for alch/herb...
Terra 04-23-2008, 04:06 PM I'd go with alcy/herb if you are going to be in a t5+ guild (or planning on). tailoring/enchanting if not as hardcore.
SniperOmega 04-23-2008, 08:01 PM I'd go with alcy/herb if you are going to be in a t5+ guild (or planning on). tailoring/enchanting if not as hardcore.
well said :D
Blotter 04-23-2008, 08:15 PM I'd go with alcy/herb if you are going to be in a t5+ guild (or planning on). tailoring/enchanting if not as hardcore.
i dont get it
you could always pay someone for pots or herbs
with tailoring/ench you make some of the best raiding gear til t5, then enchanting for the ring enchats.
obviously tailoring may not be very useful after you get some big upgrades, but the chances of jumping into a t5+ guild WITHOUT the tailored gear is probably slim.
