Need a new bass head quick!

Yeah, I didn't pick up the Ampeg B2R, but unfortunately my bass head is cutting in and out and it's on its way out.

I have a show I have to play on Friday night, but I think I'm gonna just rent a head from my local music shop for the night, but I need a new head.

Preferably something mid to high end, preferably tube but solid state is fine too. Would prefer it to be 200+ watts.

Price range is up to $800ish I'd say.

I realize finding a tube state for that price is tough, but halp!

Just stick with the brands you like. Get one with shit tons of power. It takes a lot of watts to move bass frequencies so you can hear them. 500W is a good place to be.

Good choices, I got to borrow an amp for my gigs this Friday and Saturday. I found an Eden WT-300C on craigslist and I was wondering if anyone knows the difference between a WT-300C and a WT-300??

I think the 300C has a compressor built in. Not sure. Nothing to worry about though - Eden amps are awesome! If I were a gigging bassist, I'd buy an Eden with an Aguilar 2x10. My old bassist had that rig with his 4-string Warwick and it sounded fucking awesome.

Mmmmm when I was looking for a rig I considered an Eden head and an Aguilar 2x12...but I think it was a bit out of my price range :(

Bought the WT-300C used for only $300. God, the tone is so beautiful.
