Anyway I bought a cheap AMD 4200+ 65w brisbane (2.2 ghz). Sometimes I can get it to post up to 2.6 but once i restart it fails to post. In fact almost everytime I finally get it to post, even at 2.3, once I restart it - it won't post again.

Any thoughts? Could it be the case wires for power/hdd messing it up? Or does this board just completely stink.

did you bump the voltage?
what memory are you using?

if you have stock voltage i say give the voltage a bump. if the thermals are in check it should be fine then.

No voltage options. I'm using Gskill 2gb 800

Drop your RAM bus speed a little bit, bump your voltages up a notch.

I know for my PC, and the motherboard, in particular, the RAM bus speed has to be dropped to 732 (366x2) or lower.
