Here's a bunch of stuff I did recently using FL 7. I started trying to produce five months ago when circumstances prevented me from sculpting any longer. I haven't really made any conventional electronic tunes, I just follow whatever comes to mind.

The quote in this one came from a friend:

An alternative rap beat:

I'm still making changes to my tracks, so let me know what you think works or doesn't work about them.

I really like the second one but I think the vocal effects are a little too much.

I'm not asking you to prove anything, I just wanna hear it.

I started a new track, it's meant to go with a Maya scene I'm planning with 1930s style steampunk airships, biplanes, and floating cities.

First tune is cool if somewhat uninspired.

Second tune seems to have inherited the first ones drums?

Third one sounds like BHD set to rap.

Not bad for fucking around.
Just needs more of everything.

I really enjoyed your music (like your other art). Full Circle reminded me of The Sims music. I liked the messages in your second and third tracks respectively, but I think that the mimesis-message of "military industrial" is more successful than the explicitly stated message of "peace."

Any message in a Drum and bass song is pretty much lost because its a doomed and comical genre.

Anyways, cheap sounding synths, try making your own patches instead of using FL presets. If you are already, give them some texture instead of making them all sound like hollow casios.

Someone can improve at Synthesis, a technical skill. Someone in your condition - egotistical, haughty, unintelligent but proud of it - will have a much more difficult time improving his particular deficiencies.

Thanks to everyone who reviewed my tracks. I'll try to take the criticisms into account for my next piece.

Cool attittude.
Without criticism there is no growth.

You gotta be a tougher critic on yourself. I mean, if you really wanted to bang some techno, would you want it to be that if you hadn't made it yourself? It shouldn't be.

I just tried out Edirol, an orchestral synth. Made this in an hour or so last night:
