Anyone get into the AoC PVP weekend beta?

It sucks. So does WAR. I don't say this merely to dishearten you. I really wanted to like both of these games, but they are mediocre at best and going to be boring. AoC has some potential w/siege battles but they have a lot of work to do. WAR is just terrible (it is not the successor to DAoC as much as we had all hoped it would be).

Play Shadowbane in the meantime and keep your fingers crossed for Darkfall. MMO PvP without item looting is queer. You may as well play an FPS instead.

Have you even played the most recent build of WAR? I've heard nothing but good things about it since they reopened it for RvR testing.

pretty much. that and no one ever gives any reasons as to why either sucks. i'll just have to try it myself.

besides, you can just pay for a month of fileplanet to check out the aoc beta before you go and buy it. better than wasting money buying it and finding out it actually does suck.
