I'm going to save up some extra cash to get a new comp, I'm was thinking of a laptop so I can use it at work to make menus and what not.
Do you guys think that getting a laptop would run W.A.R on high, or will I have to build a new desktop. and think under about 3k Would be best, but any ideas would be considered. Thanks for the help!

It runs perfect (minus normal beta hiccups, remember they still run debug code so it slows everything down)
on an amd fx60
4gigs of ddr 400
10krpm raptor 150gig sata drive
8800GT 512 (I have sli but disable when running WAR)
onboard sound.
@ 1920x1080 (32" LCD tv/monitor) with 60fps constant even in large fights.

I've got nearly the exact same rig, except an Intel E6850 CPU and a dual monitor setup with the main being a 22" hi-def WS. I can't say how WAR will run, but CoD4 is flawless on full settings and I can run like 3 copies of WoW (gay faggy game, but nothing better out) at a time with full settings. :P
