What do you guys think about the spawns in this game?

that's how i feel when they spawn behind me.

I must say.

Out of all the FPS games I've played, COD4 has the worst spawn system out of them all.

Nothing like people spawning right after you, as soon as you don't physically occupy the spawn point you came from. And then of course they shoot you in the back. Hardcore is the WORST for this.

I love spawning into a situation where you are facing a wall. This has happened to me a few times on overgrown.

Weird, I think it's one of the best parts of the game. No spawn camping shit like you have in RSV2 for example. Because the opposing spawn locations are constantly moving, the fights happen all over the maps rather than just one or two hotspots every time the map comes up.

Fucking hate Team Tactical and the HQ spawn is where you died and it spawns on the otherside of the fucking map.

This is by far my most favorite spawn system in any FPS. It's so nice that there isn't spawn camping all the time.

I have yet to not be spawn-killed in any match I've ever played.

And lol at you who say it keeps fights moving.

Play a map like wintercrash w/ 32 people and then tell me this game has a good spawn system. It doesn't. Marine team will push opfor back to the corner and they begin to magically spawn midfield in the open and in/around tower WHILE WE ARE INSIDE IT. What the fuck is that?

isn't that a user made map though? It seems like we shouldn't be able to bitch about spawns on non official maps... wouldn't that be the map creator's fault? The only time I've seen spawns get camped, is sometimes you can get trapped in the big inside room in vacant, and maybe the top corner of crash.

All of the maps are able to be spawn camped if youre playing with people that know what theyre doing and dont push too far into the spawn. Before I got a 44 kill streak I had a 36 on Ambush, which is probably the worst spawn camp map of all, from us having them backed into a corner. You can even spawn camp people in on Bloc, which is harder to do though.
