I'm pretty sure I'll get flamed for it, but this is simply something I heard from a WoW-friend on Demon Soul. He seems firmly convinced there's two ways to get one of those mounts. One is what we've all known (finish arena season within ght top 0.5 precentile) but he seems to think there's a second way. And that is to get Exalted with all the Outlands factions. Personally I don't believe it, if there was even something remotely truthful to this The kiddies would be making an uproar about it on the forums. And even then all the factions seems vague. You have them in different groupings besides Outlands, would he think every single faction that resides in Outlands or just the ones in the Outlands tab?

Flame, bitch, piss, moan, and all that facepalm emotes. I really love those.

PS Mutilate may suck in arena but it's pretty fuckin' fun in the BGs. I love hitting 1900 - 2100 Mutilate crits and get two combo points to boot, topping the damage charts and getting in the top 3 in killing blows. Stabby stabby and it'll only get better as I get the rest of the S1/Vind shit. If only more people did heroics so I can buy some of the vind stuff with badges instead. :(

Plenty of people are exalted with all Outlands factions.

They don't have an armored drake.

just because you suck as mutilate doesn't mean it sucks in arena.

mutilate does suck in arena. the only setup i could see it working in would be a gib setup such as spriest/rogue or mage/rogue - and even then, it would be better as sstep at high ratings. if you fail to gib someone as mut, you and your partner are pretty much fucked the rest of the match. mut is definitely fun though. sometimes i'll spec it when making a fresh 2v2 to sell, but usually have to make the switch back to sstep around 1850ish. that's on bg9 though, could probably get away with it til around 2k on the non-factor bg's.

One of my officers is a top world rep grinder. Theres no bonus from being exalted with all factions. Outland or otherwise.

It's hilarious how people that play in "bg9" all think they are special or something.

lol, u r silly

seriously though, all it takes is the other team to be smart and play defensively and mut fails.

edit: lulz, i just remembered a match i had when i ran my 2300 disc priest/rogue against a mirror/mut rogue in nagrand and my priest just backed himself into a really tight corner and made it impossible for their rogue to land muts. that was good times.

That rogue just didn't know what to do then, because you can always Mut if you're on top of someone.

It's possible if you are different races, I suppose, I've never explicitly tested it; haven't been Mut in a long time.
