I picked up some cage free grain fed eggs the other day for about $2 more than regular eggs. So is it worth it? The box says 275 mg of Omega-3 fatty acids per egg which I heard is good for muscle growth. How much would a regular egg have in comparison?

eh just take some omega 3/6 pills and buy regular eggs?
i always use egg whites in a container + 1 whole omega egg. I hate busting 6-7 eggs for just the whites.

buying the grain fed/free range eggs or chicken meat is more about animal rights rather than any direct health benefits.

I just put two tablespoons of ground flax seed into my yogurt everyday to get the Omega-3's.
You can always buy Omega pills, though, as someone already suggested.

I buy eggs from a small local farm (grain feed) and the difference between them and omega 3 eggs is huge. They taste so much better, the yolk color is a very deep yellow compared to the omega 3s. They farm ones are bigger too.
