Plain Vanilla Tribes for Vista Widescreen - Is it Possible?

The title says it all really.. I have Home Premium 64 bit with a 19" widescreen and I'm looking for a copy of t1 that will get me back in an rolling. The tribesftw copy has so much extra crap, I just really need z0ddski, max gren toss and maybe an hfoe.

Anyone have this kicking around?

Update: I can get a clean copy of 1.8 and using the vista fix and the LH1.30 executable get tribes to run, in 1440x900, but everytime I quit it resets all my settings. I think I'm getting closer but jesus christ not easy :o

its probably clientprefs.cs set to read only

1. unzip
2. add lasthope / vistafix / whatever

It's basically the 1.11 install, zipped up. No modifications, etc. Perfect.

<-- needs a 1400x900 res setting as well.

I actually got a free copy of 1.8 from some distro site (majorgeeks, fileplanet, somewhere). I put in the vistafix, and with using the lasthope130.exe or whatever, everything works fine. It even has 1440/900.

Now I just need to figure out how to rebind my z0dd gren max throw to side mouse 2

replace Keyboard0 with Mouse0 then put in the "Button2"

i.e. : bindCommand(mouse0, make, "button2", TO, "Throw::GrenadeSwitch(1);");

If I could have 1680x1050 w/ no gui stretch I'd play tribes again.

If you don't update 1.8 to 1.11 before you add 1.3 you'll have problems.
