Sumo grip it, or use wraps

What would it matter if it's sumo or conventional?

Sumo grip is terrible, use a mixed grip, straps if it's very heavy

Try mixed grip or straps, also try hanging from a pull up bar with a weight belt, with your arms bent at the elbow at a 90 degree angle.

Also, farmers walk.

Bodybuilding.com - Canvas Lifting Straps - Superior Comfort! On sale now! (http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/pwrstrap.html)

Don't bother trying to get your grip to keep up with your deadlift progress. Just get some simple canvas wraps and you'll have no more problems. Continue to develop your grip strength on everything else you do in the gym, but don't hold yourself back on the deadlift cause of grip issues or you're going to plateau real low.

They even improve my form cause I have to pull inefficiently when I'm worried about losing my grip. Sorry no way in fucking hell can I grip 375.

I like pronated grip. I'm not a big fan of mixed grip.
Does chalk help alot? I'd rather use chalk than straps. I'm not a big fan of gear.

you aren't going to be able to deadlift any serious amount of weight without the bar rubbing off your fingerprints if you dont use straps or mix your grip

this is a fact of life

Yes chalk makes the world of difference!!!! It's retarded that most gyms ban it.

Make sure you are using a "hook" grip around the bar to maximize your grip strength.

You should only have to do a mixed grip when going for your max weight reps. Other than that I've found/read that either pronated or mixed work just as well.
