I just bought a new 500 GB Western Digital SATA drive.
I plugged in the power and the SATA cable then turned on the box.
Vista starts up, and says the new hard drive has been successfully installed. It appears in the Device manager and is there in the bios.
It isn't visible in My Computer. I can't access it.
WAT?
Do I have to format it? I thought Vista would do that automatically.
If I do have to format it, what do I format? As far as I can see, the HDD has not been assigned a drive letter.
Edit:
I used google :)
