You can poke around Outlands to find quests that still give CE rep. I need to grind to revered for the transmute recipe and it turns out I missed the whole hub at Evergrove, and I'm pretty sure that gives CE rep. It may not help too much but it could mean a couple less coilfang runs.
or you could just buy coilfang armaments off the AH.

There are advantages to druids tanking over warriors and visa versa.
The main advantage of a druid over a warrior is dps. A druid tank counts as a dps'er because of the damage output we can maintain. A warrior can't compete in that area. This can be very advantageous in 5 mans and 10 mans.
On the overall I'd give the advantage to the warriors, but many fights/instances out there are easier with druids tanking.
Off tanking is truly where we shine though. Because, as I mentioned in my previous post, I've geared for more dodge than armor tanking I can go cat form and pump out some pretty good dps when I need to since I run high agility. I'm not positive off of the top of my head of the exact numbers...but in my tanking gear in cat form I have around 3k ap and 40% crit. I can also shift out and throw on my healing mace/offhand/idol and backup heal quite well if needed.
can i get a link to your armory?
i did kara last night as off tank... eye opening experience. caused a wipe at the zap zap beam fight...but that was cuz i was trying to move in and out of the green beam like a retard.
my guild's just after the badges...i got a fuckload of healing gear and some tanking gear thrown at me...
T4 gloves and Gloves of Dexterous Manipulation - Items - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28506) dropped to me.
now question...with all the epics in my healing set now... i have 1069 healing(which is the magic number for heroics, i've heard). belt and bracers are still noobie caster dps greens...so those could do with an upgrade. problem now is that in my healing set i have about 6.7k hp. is this normal... quite distressing going from 9k to 6.7k and am afraid i might get 1 shot.
and...should i swap the T4 gloves for resto or feral? i'm back on the fence on whether to go feral or resto(with all my new healing gear...I even got Light's Justice)... Gloves of Dexterous Manipulation would beat T4 gloves for cat dps, but T4's still slightly better for bear.

i disagree w/ gonstone, stack sta and def to start. your dodge is gonna be decent anyway. the higher sta, esp since bears get extra sta, will give healers a good buffer. if you're pugging heroics, you'll find a lot of bad healers, and that extra health will help. you might take less dmg w/ dodge, but it's gonna be a lot spikier, which is bad for bad healers
heavy clefthoof is good as a starting set. s1 glad gear is also good to start w/ if you can't find other stuff. it has higher armor, good stats, and the two piece bonus is good for getting non-crit. use the pvp bracers for uncrittable. heroic neck for def. get def to cloak, the keepers of time head ench, def or resil to chest.
mech, slave pens, underbog, sethekk are probably the easiest heroics to start tanking in and saving up badges
as a druid, i wouldn't worry too much about your threat. you will probably crit a lot, so that helps threat out a ton. mangle and lacerate both have threat modifiers, so just spam them. if you get up to kara lvl, you'll start getting set pieces, and they have stats like str, which will help your threat

healing heroics as a druid kinda sucks, cause if you don't have an offspec rezzer, ppl always have to run back since you don't wanna waste your bres. it's a lot easier to get groups as a tank anyway, i think.
good tanks can carry bad healers, so if you're good at picking up multiple mobs, it's easier to get your groups together. good healers don't carry bad tanks as well, because those bad tanks let mobs one shot dps
you'll probably gear up faster as feral
