Speculation: O-sniping in Legions?

Is there a good reason to bitch about O-sniping in legions given that you can see the beam before getting hit? I know people will complain regardless because its hard to accept change. Anyone on defense who can't avoid sniper fire that they see coming would be kind of stupid.

Thoughts?

when was the last time people didn't bitch about something in a video game?

A small laser beam would fit better, like the spartan laser in halo 3.

If you don't like what that player is doing, track him down and KILL HIM. Again. Over and over. Do it until they drop from the server like a wounded puppy.

Just don't ask for artificial rules to deal with what you can't.

I agree completely, yet there was a basis for the rule to keep pubs fun. I didn't agree with it, but I did abide it.

I think the presence of a beam before the shot takes away from the original reason the O-sniping rule was invented. Perhaps not.

Never saw what the big deal with o'sniping was. I always found it far less annoying than mortar and nade spamming.

I'm still lost as to how the term "o-sniping" came into existence except through many peoples extreme stupidity. Why is there no "o-grenades" or "o-chainguning" or "o-discing" ? because people are fucking retarded with their mindless niche rules.

I always hated people making up tons of rules.

I think I really became aware of how much I hated it when I was playing on Treehouse in T2, it was a full house...I was out of ammo and sniped a guy at the enemy base. I was immediately kicked for o-sniping. Guess I must have ruined the game with that one shot.

Agreed, I mentioned this a couple of times on the FE:L forum without replies. I guess they know when not to respond to their dumb ass idea. LOL I was waiting to get banned from the forums for being negative.
