if you arent an enchanter (and a leatherworker if you pve) don't play wow because you are terrible.If you min-max you're an enchanter, period. I imagine next patch or two they'll allow drums to be BoE and people can buy them or pass them around. My previous guild has a fucking mage leatherworker just for drums, they went from 2 or 3 LW's in the guild to 8 or 9 in the last 2 weeks for Sunwell. While I miss the hardcore raids, that's definitely a perk of transferring off to play with friends and have alot more fun - I no longer have to go balls out night after night or study every intricacy of a new encounter.
I leveled an alt solely to gather since my main is enchanting/tailoring. Lately though I've been playing the alt more than my main and may PL engineering on it in the near future for t6 level helms and mote extractors I can abuse while flying around mining.
