Pomegranate Juice. I keep hearing about all the great stuff it's supposed to do. I've never tried it myself other than a couple tastes. Anyone ever drink it regularly or know anything about it?

High in antioxidants. evilpaladine 04-06-2008, 02:50 PM overpriced, too much sugar (if you're trying to lose weight) Raven 04-06-2008, 03:52 PM theres no such thing as miracles in fitness Reggs 04-06-2008, 05:11 PM My girlfriend interviewed a PR woman at POM. It's a craze that started with Oprah. Today's POM is yesterdays noni juice, and day before yesterdays aloe juice. Of course, I'm speaking in terms of consumer popularity. JuggerNaught 04-06-2008, 05:30 PM theres no such thing as miracles in fitness nobody said this was a miracle. just a vitamin packed drink. seems pretty expensive though Iced 04-06-2008, 06:57 PM i drink it regularly and like it a lot. during the day i either drink juice or water. i only drink the POM brand that is 100% pomegranate juice. MistaKe 04-06-2008, 07:11 PM I'm not too big on the taste. But, as other people pointed out, it's really expensive. If you're on a budget and trying to eat/live healthy, maybe leave the POM out. Rayn 04-07-2008, 12:18 PM the hype is due the novelty, but many fruit juices are loaded with antioxidants. especially juices with rich color. pomegranate is overpriced, get some red grape juice or tomato juice. MistaKe 04-07-2008, 02:58 PM I really like Naked Juice (http://www.nakedjuice.com/). It's a bit pricey, but not nearly as much as a bottle of POM, at least not in my grocery store. I don't buy it all the time but when I want something "sweet" to drink, it's what I reach for. | ||
