hey guys,
i play poker professionally and am a long-time instructor for the training site CardRunners.com (http://www.cardrunners.com/) under the nickname "brystmar". ask bren and he'll tell you i am the reason he's a winning player today (jk ;)).

i play up to 10/20NL & 5/10PLO on PokerStars as marantz and on Full Tilt Poker as MicoTX. For live games, i'll play up to about 25/50 in NLH and/or PLO mixed games. i credit all of my success to two things: studying the game very intensely, and learning from CardRunners videos. feel free to check out my poker blog (http://www.cardrunners.com/members/index.php?option=com_mamb log&Itemid=29&task=show&action=user&id=3589&ignorecount=1) on CR sometime. i'll be in vegas all summer again living with my poker buddies and trying to win a bracelet.

here's a few interesting/crazy hands for you guys to gush over:

i have tons of history with this opponent and was 100% sure he didn't have anything. i was also pretty sure he thought that i didn't have anything and would bluffraise me if i bet the flop, so the only way i can win this pot is by checking to let him bet so i can bluffraise myself. fun hand :)

this is another really advanced play that requires lots of pre-established history between all 3 players. 20buck knows that mark is 3-betting light, so he will 4-bet light, and i know that he knows this, so i cold 5-bet light vs both of them. even if either of them suspects that i'm doing this lightly, there really isn't much they can do about it without a top 1% hand. :D

two PLO hands from yesterday's session:
Hand History Posting and Rakeback (http://www.pokerhand.org/?2651552) -- as stated above, i DO accept donations :)
Hand History Posting and Rakeback (http://www.pokerhand.org/?2648747) -- it's not often that you can get 500bb in on the flop as a >99% favorite 3-way in PLO, but it does happen against bad players. to beginners it may seem like this is a standard "unlucky" spot for at least one of my opponents, but in actuality both of my opponents played their hands terribly. like, god-awfully bad. but that's why i play!

can a fellow TW'er get a CR discount? i'd like to check it out, and $25 a month isn't that bad but the $100 first time price is a bit steep for me grinding through microstakes right now.
