2nd monitor lags a bit

I got a DELL 3007-HC as my primary monitor and a 2001FP in portrait mode mode on the side. The graphic display on the 2001FP lags slightly, not terribly. Like if you drag a window around really fast u can see that its not moving as smoothly as it would on the primary monitor. There is no problem with videos tho. I didn't have this problem back when i used the 2001FP as my solo monitor.

My video card is a Geforce 8800GTS 640MB. Drivers are up to date. I also installed the dell drivers for both monitors. Not quite sure what those do tho, they weren't necessary to get the monitors working. Anyone know what could be wrong?

Is there a firmware update for the card?

I've never heard of this happening.

Does this happen all the time or only when you're running certain applications, I know there are certain issues when it comes to display certain applications when using dual monitors, especially when you use multiple applications that try and make use of hardware acceleration, especially games, video, anything of the like.

if you switch the monitors around, does the lag reverse and one monitors lags behind the other instead?
