For real though, if you're hungry eat.
I don't think I could ever lose weight with a diet alone. For me it's all about the lifting and cardio to bring me under maintenance calories.
Also a good trick is to set aside some healthy food you really don't like for when you're hungry, and not supposed to be eating.
Finally don't buy a bunch of food you really like.
The worst thing I can do is cook up a batch of spaghetti sauce for the week, because it's something I enjoy so much that I can't help but make my portion a little bigger than it needs to be (or a lot bigger).
