I actually felt pretty good today. But i noticed when i drank my shake...i'm practically going to sleep. anyone else have that happen or is it just me?

are you taking some type of diet supp or appetite suppressant?

it's not as hard as you think. Your body is REALLY good at adjusting to that shit.

Yeah when I have a bad project week, then for a few days I would eat only 1 meal a day and still work out in between. All because of lack of time. My body felt terrible though then.

I think that most physicians and nutritionists recommend not to go under 1,700 calories a day. Else your body goes into starvation mode.

actually i think it would be based off your resting metabolic rate. That is how many calories you burn a day just doing your average day working, walking, taking stairs/elevators. if your goal is weight loss via limiting caloric intake, you might need to go down to say 1500 or maybe more for someone not very active with a slow resting metabloic rate.

is there any way to find your exact resting metabolic rate?? or is it just a guesstimate based on superficially observable things (height, weight, etc)?

No, just very small meals, spaced out and a lot of water. Green veggies and water take care of hunger feelings pretty easily.

Once of the reasons you want to eat often is to keep energy levels stable. (and hunger pangs managable)
