over pair?
game must have been pretty aggro to call the 4-bet. Or is that your standard play with such a small 4-bet?

considering stack sizes.. i think this call is standard

v standard in an aggro hu game 180bb's deep :)
edit: he's also very bad in general and i'd probably pay him .02 cents a hand to play me until i took all 5 or 6 million he won for coming in second in the wsop

i think he posted something on 2p2 about quitting his job to play poker
one of the best things about all the celebrity these tourney players get is that it makes them think they are actually good. with how hard it is to get money on sites now, these guys are definitely fueling a good portion of the poker economy

meh.. I guess he could/should have made his 4-bet a little larger to cut down on your odds. Other than that, once the flop hits, wouldn't you put the money in with AA on that board? You could easily have a draw or 99-TT there no?

his min-reraise preflop with AA is awesome.

*min re-raise rocket (aka his 4bet from 130 to 220)
not his initial raise
(it was terrible considering how deep we were)

Yeah bren must suck real bad. Hence his results over an extended period of time proving how "lucky" he is.
Why do people compare their 25nl knowledge to 1000nl. They are different games.

Eh, he is playing heads up, each player has 180+ BB stacks. Tuan min-4bet making it $90 into a pot of $260. That made creative's decision, "risk $90 to make $350, or fold", not considering the meta-game aspect that you are folding to a min-4bet heads up.
creative flops OSFD and gets his money in.
Against AA, he is 49% favorite, against AhKh he is 43%. The only hand that has him crushed is 66, which is pretty damn unlikely given the 4-bet pre-flop.
Edit: Why did I get suckered into answering this...

I disagree entirely. Any 25nl regular could understand creative's play. You could even be a loosing 25nl player and still understand what happend and know that it wasn't a stupid move. I'm not disagreeing that they aren't different games, but this is pretty basic stuff :P.

The psychology behind each game is different. 25NL is a very linear game. 1000NL is more cerebral and you start to think on different levels. Otherwise there wouldn't be a problem moving up between the levels.

I'm not disagreeing with this in any way. They are different. I mispoke. I simply meant that even a player at 25NL should be able to understand this hand and what happened :P.
