And I dont think i made it right

It kinda tasted like liquid shit water with mint. Thank you mint ice cream. :(

I can feel the effects of the protein though - 75 MG working hard. I can't wait to lift tonight, i feel like i can lift a train

Edit: WHere do the oats come in? Or is that something i eat separately of the shake....

something about that doesn't seem right.

I threw in a banana and 2 scoops of ice cream as well. instant 700 calz

What did you end up putting in it? Thin mint flavored whey powder + ice cream or whey powder + thin mint flavored ice cream?

and i put mint ice cream and a banana in it

it really didn't taste TOO bad, but i think i put too much water in it

protien shakes are really important when you are starting out in comparison to exercise or routine.

The flavor combo might be a bit "much" for me. Vanilla marshmallow + mint ice cream + banana, not sure if I could stomach all those flavors together but if you like it, it's your pallet, not mine heh.

I keep mine simple (chocolate whey + some fresh fruit, normally bananas or strawberries) and use 1% milk instead of water. But however you take it, just take it. Drinking them before and/or after workouts is one of the best things I've done/could suggest (as Darkstrand pointed out).

Oh, and I'll hop on AIM, totally forgot about that.

20 oz skim milk
.5 cups of oats
1 banana
2 scoops ON Chocolate Mint

morning shake:

1 teaspoon flax
5g glutamine
1 scoop (Syntha-8)

pwo shake:

2 scoops Maltodextrin - usually works out to around 100g's of carbs
1 scoop whey (ON GS 100% Whey)

and usually i'll have another shake that will be

1 teaspoon flax
1 scoop whey

I usually don't put oats or anything extra into my shakes, and I just use water instead of milk as milk doesn't tend to agree with my stomach ;(

I like how he threw in 2 scoops of icecream and a banana "for an instant 700 cal"

in a month when he puts on 9.5 lbs of lard and .5 lb of muscle he'll post:

So, I'm really seeing results guys and have put on 10 lbs of lean mass in the last month. What else should I eat to take me to the next level?

I use ON Whey. Once scoop in the morning after my work out then one scoop before bed. The cookies and cream is delicious.
