Np, last time we did it I could sign up 10 people I believe, so I'll just do a first come first serve basis the next time it comes up.
Where do you belong, how much do you pay?Gizmo 03-26-2008, 03:27 PM Np, last time we did it I could sign up 10 people I believe, so I'll just do a first come first serve basis the next time it comes up. kMz. 03-26-2008, 07:00 PM the right stuff in san jose,ca ~$14/mo $~80 initiation fee The Bear 03-26-2008, 08:09 PM My membership at the local YMCA is free. Phantred 03-26-2008, 08:34 PM i used to think initiation fees were such bullshit, but now i really don't mind them. It's how a lot of gyms actually make their money, so in theory it keeps the monthly fees low. Grand Masta D 03-26-2008, 08:43 PM Work's gym, $5 a week. TooSmoothe 03-27-2008, 05:24 PM Due to going frequently enough that my insurance takes off 20 bucks a month. I pay 12.99 at 'Snap Fitness' (24 hour style) Nothing fancy at all, just what I need to do my basic lifting/workouts. Was a 35 join fee, no contract and I guess they offer unlimited tanning for $10 a month too. Guess I've got it decent compared to some of you, but I don't really need an all-inclusive gym. liquidh2o 03-27-2008, 07:25 PM On base fitness center. Have a 6am-8pm center as well as a 24/7 one, all you have to do is join the military :brows: If anyone here actually lived in WY I'd say you could come along, I need a good spotter/workout partner :/ Grand Masta D 03-27-2008, 07:58 PM On base fitness center. I just could no live with that. Sensi 04-01-2008, 02:03 AM local YMCA.. its actually pretty damn huge, 2 indoor pools, 2 steams and a sauna as well. 28/month Rayn 04-01-2008, 06:47 AM I have heard about Planet Fitness being so cheap, but I had the same experience as DropSquad. Plus, I heard they have a 'lunk alarm' for people for grunt or drop weights. I don't drop weights, but if I have 350 lbs on my back, I might make some 'lunky' noises. I mean yeah granted, compared to a nysc or bally's it isnt as good, but its still more than enough to get by. I'll admit that sometimes it sucks not having those nice hammer strength weight machines, but in the end (at least for me) having alot of cardio machines that have the linked in headphone setup to many televisions, and then and an acceptable range of free-weights and dumbells is fine. I'm looking to hit 14% BF, and just really have a nice lean look. Don't really care so much about being ripped. | ||
