They never showed. Was the ladder admins team so banshee rule fucked them, now they aren't on the ladder anymore, unless they reformed under a new name and I didn't see it.

I would imagine someone on the team did. I hadnt thought about an admin doing it and they would have had no reason to. Id be pretty pissed if they did. Im already not in good with the admins and have voiced my views of their horrible handling of the ladders/league. Whoever deleted us, let me know before I start some shit. :)

next time just make sure everyone wants to quit, not just you and blitz. its a 4 person ladder, Im sure if needed we could have had the leadership of the team transfered to me. I am not sure how Homer, or darmok felt about playing again but I still wanted to, and if you guys didn't there is ways to have it moved over to me so I can invite people and you didn't have to be bothered with it.

eh, i personally didn't want to play tdm anymore. it was pretty lame i thought. My big thing was whether or not the admin deleted us.

vespula, were all in the server...including homer...that we didn't want tdm,shit 90% of us didn't want tdm to start with.
second, by the time a decision was going to be made we would've gotten challanged.
not sur why it is a big deal, as we can rejoin at any point in time.

because it wasn't just your team to make the decision on your own with out at least asking people first. Blitz and I were still talking about it in this thread and instead of asking you decided that you didn't want to be on the ladder and canceled it.

I could care less if all 4 of us didn't want to play, the fact still remains you could have asked before you did it and we could have worked something out that would have made everyone happy. I get it, every 5 minutes while we waiting saying how you didn't want to be playing.. the problem is I was at every damn match for TDM, just as a lot of people were and I didn't WANT to start over... If I did I would have quit pnb and started up a team.

Transferring the team would have done nothing but given me a chance even with a forfeit to field a team in the top ten. there is 2-3 pages of teams that I will now have to go back through, including waiting on forfeits, no-shows, reschedules to get back up there. but in all reality, it wasn't your choice to make on your own.

Im curious if none of you want to play what the big fucking deal was handing the team over so I could invite a couple of friends who did want to play? Easier starting over how? So we can basically forfeit and noshow our way back up to the same top ten spot that we played over the last 4 months to get to in pinb?

Just seems to me like because you guys didn't want to play all the sudden you could care less what someone who DID want to keep playing wants, which I'm fine with, but it was fucking childish to take the team off the ladder instead of just keeping the spot where I know when I get challenged 9 out of 10 times It will be for a match that people actually show up to. So what if we forfeit a match or two while I got people on the ladder, not like you iras, homer, or omg were going to play anyways right..

Im curious why you get so worked up over it. If its a new team then make it and challenge up like everyone else. In all my years of gaming on ladders Ive never heard someone get upset over something like this. Its not like youre dropping a hundred spots. Youll be back challenging into the top 10 in a week, or possibly less if noone accepts. It took us all of a couple weeks to get into the top 10 when there were 80 teams on the ladder, before they cleaned it up. I can also distinctly remember you saying, and laughing about it with us, that we were going to rule fuck the admins team and then drop the ladder while waiting on them the other night. its as simple as that. The simple fact remains again, what do any of you "care" since none of you plan on playing anyways? And yes it was kinda childish to sit there for 30 minutes every five minutes saying "God I just want to play rb6, I don't want to play this anymore" and yes I was laughing because it would have been funny, but it was also very apparent from my posts that I wanted the spot because there were people still on the team who I could field to play like beast, im sure hydra woulda played etc...

When youre cussing at people and calling them childish, then yea...youre worked up over it. It wasnt shady at all. We all said we were dropping it, including you, the other night while we were laughing about it and the rule fucking. Then you have to start acting like its a big deal. Everyone was a leader on this team and only a couple chose to help here and there, and one of those deleted us after we were planning on it. I dont call that shady in the least bit. Had you had a problem with it, you should have spoke up then and told everyone instead of laughing about it with us.

First off, its a team decision to drop ladders, and the decision was made to do so last week and even talked about before that. Youre the only one who showed any kind of feelings differently. You also KNEW we planned on dropping after that match and didnt say a word during that time and even said it was going to be funny to rule fuck the admin and drop the ladder. :shrug: Dont act so surprised, because its obvious there was no surprise to you at all.

In my experiences, when a team decides to drop a ladder, anyone who still wants to play it goes to another team or starts a new one up and works their way up the ladder. :shrug: Ive never heard someone complain because the team decided they didnt want to play anymore and one person wanted to take over the team. Its a new team, not PinB, so shouldnt it have its own identity anyways? Im kind of surprised that you wouldnt want it that way to begin with.

Its also jumped from being childish for taking the team off the ladder to being childish for us saying wed rather be playing another game the other night? Cool man, whatever. Not exactly my definitions of childish, but I guess we can all view actions differently. I think its childish that were sitting here arguing over something so stupid on the forum, so if you want to talk about it anymore, then just send me a voice invite over live.

Again, I said it would be funny, I didn't say YEA lets take the team off right after we ladder fucked them.. because as you can see the same day we had the match I was asking you to hand over leadership to me so that the people who were on the ladder still and had interest in cod (Me, bodom, Beast, Hydra) could at least decide if WE wanted to keep playing or not.

If they didn't then I could have removed us, or invited 1 or 2 people to make up for the ones who didn't want to.

as for arguing, its a matter of perception on what happened. You perceive the fact that I said I wanted the team handed over to me the same day we were joking about it to mean I really didn't want the team or the ladder anymore, and that in your eyes you wouldn't want to play again or you would want to start over on a half way dead ladder instead of starting out in a place where you KNOW you will play as meaning I would also.

but thats the difference, I would have made sure before I hit that button just to make sure by taking 5-10 minutes out of my night and sending a mass question to everyone... its not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, I quit PinB and will just start a new team, it is a big deal to me that 4 out of the 9 people on the roster want to play rb6 instead and so they decide for the whole group whats going to happen.

and yes the WHOLE SITUATION is childish. It wouldn't have hurt anyone if the team was left on the ladder and I took over leadership. As for only a couple of people helping, last time I checked there was plenty of times where I sat so Iras and others could play, there was plenty of times where I and one or two other people were sitting there at match time holding the other team off so that those of you who decided to go out and party or had other things to take care of could.. please don't act like only two of you had anything to do with this team. But in the end the situation is over, no big deal, I dropped PinB and when I get a chance to talk to those who do want to keep playing maybe a team will form maybe it won't I just wanted the chance to be able to play with out having to go through 5-6 teams of no shows and forfeits to get back up to where people actually play.

Im not even sure what youre arguing about anymore considering you joked about it with us instead of speaking out against it while most of the core group was there. If you want to make a team, then make it and move the fuck on. Whats done is done. I said to private chat me if you want to talk to me about it any further, but I guess that is childish too. Ill still leave the option open though, but at this point it doesnt really matter and is pointless since there is nothing that can be done about it, much like arguing about it on the forum. Im over it and done with it.
