Map Pack April 4 800ms points

Gay.. I was hoping it would come in at 400ms Points. I'm debating on whether or not to pick these up.

Every map pack on live has always been 800 points. Dont see why this is a surprise. :shrug: I dont mind paying the money for it considering the work they put into it. Its less than I generally pay for lunch.

Not free on PS3. Also rumored to be out 3 weeks after map pack is released for 360. Just dont think the source was reliable though.

no. PSN is not the same as game network. There is a PSN webpage where you can download demo's, movies, games, etc and stuff like arcade games or full games can be downloaded for a price.

expansion packs cost money, map packs sometimes do and sometimes don't. A lot of the times though it will be a couple bucks. Most of the "free" you hear about Sony is the fact that you don't have to pay a sub to play online or access the "free" content of the site where with MS to play online you have to pay.

I haven't played too many games with released map packs on the 360 yet. I noticed that the halo map pack is now free, do you guys think that it will be the same way for COD? Let people who want the maps pay the first few months then just release them for free so everyone can play the new maps?

Odds are slim. Look and see if the cod2 map pack is free yet. I dont think it is, but its been a while since I looked.

CoD has pleased a lot of people with their map pack releases. A Carentan remake is already well worth the 800 points to me as thats one of my favorite maps I ever played in the CoD series. Im not even playing CoD4 and might come back for a bit just to play that map as much as possible, along with try some of the others. For 4 maps its really not that bad considering I pay that much for a 6 pack. I just wish they would have 4 seperate downloads for 250 a piece. That would be ideal.

Now I see why they don't plan on having these maps for PC.

halo's map pack was the most worthless set of 4 maps ever. people dont even like playing it and frequently veto them

it was worse than the gears of war map pack

if anyone finds a place selling most likely stolen MS point cards let us know
