Gamespot Sneakpeak at new maps (360, PS3, PC)

Well the first one they showed was the broadcast room which is from the SP game, just with a few MP changes. Might be pretty fun, but all the computers blowing up in that room might break some 360s :)

Second one is a map called Creek which looks pretty similar to another one of the SP levels, but apparently they changed the map so it's "sunnier" than the other russian maps.

The last two they didn't get to talk much about or show pictures of, but they did say that one would be called Chinatown (not hard to guess what this map will be like) and the other is called Killhouse. The clue they gave to killhouse was to think of the training mission at the beginning of the game.

I'm not sure why fourtwozero said that they were coming out with entirely new maps, as at least 3 of these look to be based on the SP maps. While a few of the maps might be fun, I've got a feeling they will be asking a decent bit of money for some modified SP maps =/

I wonder if the PC version will be free. Don't know how, or if they could protect a map pack.

At least broadcast will be primarily inside. I love vacant, and was hoping for another map that was close quarters. Creek looks familiar to some SP maps, but they only showed a picture so it could be completely different for all I know. Killhouse might turn into a map like shipment which would be cool. Chinatown I couldn't even begin to comment on though.

I've got a feeling I'll probably get the map pack, but I've seen people on other forums saying if one player doesn't have the map it will automatically pick one of the default maps. I'm not sure if this is the case, but if it were the case I don't think I would enjoy it at all.

Im probably not even going to bother with RB6V coming out. At least for a couple months if RB6 doesnt hold my attention in matches.

I understand charging for DLC, but I really wish they'd release these map packs for free.

Carentan was my favorite map in CoD2. I hope this is true. I might download the map pack just for that.
