I want to add these into training but my gym doesn't have one of those lower back/hip flexor contraptions. Anyone know of any good substitutes?

I dead lift already. straight leg dead lift? what the fuck? from the looks of that gif its everything thats wrong with lifting weight incorrectly. edit : i should say, to ME, thats what it seems like. i thought bending and lifting like that is a perfect way to hurt yourself really bad. And on the floor laying down supermans. You will be doing anywhere from 1/4 - 1/3 of your usual weight to start on a SL or romanian deadlift. It's not that bad and shouldn't hurt your back. I don't do this exercise myself, but if your gym has any kind of abdominal machine, you could probably adapt and exercise to work your lower back there, but in all honesty I have huge lower back muscles and I suspect it's just from squatting with all that weight on my back. Raven 03-13-2008, 10:45 PM ill stick to squats and deadlifts heavy then and maybe do supermans on the floor. i will fall off the swiss ball and people will laugh. | ||
