have to agree with rayn here, im pretty balanced, you've got me beat in presses by 5 to 15 lbs and I've got 20-40 lbs on your squats and deadlifts.

edit: nevermind, we're even on deadlifts, but your squats are low, work on them and you'll see your bench go up too.

I'm 5'9" and 143...

I do 3x5 of 205 on squat but only 3x5 of 135 on bench... One of us is out of proportion, maybe both.

Well, my squats are pretty much down to the bucket as far as I can physically go, so i'm sure if I did some average squats my numbers might be higher. I just started a cycle of Cellucor m5 so i'll see what my numbers are after 2 months

My bench is a lot higher on that list than my other exercises. Really need to start improving my squat/dead lift numbers.

exercises like squats and bench press and curls can be so easy or so hard depending on how you perform them. Someone could be rather strong for weight with those numbers or not very strong depending on how they were executing.

At any rate, Imbalances tend to work themselves out. I didn't squat for a long time so I"m getting back into the swing of things (very very slowly because I consider it a very dangerous exercise) and my bench is about 100 lbs more than my squat ;-).

I think I put that link in useful resources thread as well; I find it an adequate benchmark and the numbers seem realistic (took me about 9 months to get to the border of intermediate)

don't think I'll ever hit those advanced numbers though :P

Yeah, keep in mind that those figures on the EXRX standards are for one rep max. They also have a converter between 1 rep max weight and multi rep weight, though I'm sure that's highly variable between the different lifts.

Your numbers look fine. Although, the bi's seem a bit low for everything else.

It's very rare to find anyone with absolutely perfect lifting numbers across the board.

I would say only doing 1 or 2 sets at high reps is not the best(or even a good) measure of strength though.

Probably about 8 months by now. I originally weighed 195 and couldn't even bench 105 pounds. So i've definetly had some good gains and overall body transformation. right now im kind of having some problems with my stomach skin being lose from all the extra weight.. my abs are rock solid on the bottom so ive just been running my ass off and doing crunches with heavy weights to get them to come out
