All my friends are going to switch from COD4 to rainbow 6 vegas, and they're taking me with them. But is Vegas 2 really going to be that good, because COD4 rocks pretty fucking hard...

Im a huge RB6 fan and I thought it was the best console FPS game I had played until CoD4. Im definitely getting it and playing the shit out of it, but its really going to have to be something to kill CoD4. I tried going back to RB6V to get ready for the new one, and it was so slow I just couldnt take more than a couple games.

same thing with me as banshee. the games were damn slow when i was back. i hope it doesn't kill the experience that i love in rb6v2

will depend.

if its not as fast as COD4 it will go to the for sale bin pretty fast. I wasn't that impressed from the movies I saw, but then again I have to play a game for a week or so before I can really decide if I like them.

I hated COD4 at first in beta, thought it was stupid. Then after playing for a week I couldn't put it down.

well for me personally don't know when ill be picking up rb6v2, store fucked up my preorder and didn't order enough and a couple of my buddies I play eq2 with say they don't like it, even with sprint the game is way to slow and the graphics are kinda meh.

might just wait it out and see if you guys like it and continue to play cod4 in the meantime.

well I have the coolest wife in town.

She knew I was pissed about gamecrazy fucking my shit up so she drove after work 45 minutes to the next major shopping area over and bought it, saying she had to work late.

of course now everytime she says she has to work late I am going to be wondering if she is out getting some deep dicking somewhere instead of being at work =(

well I think im over it.

after a night of playing I realize one thing, the game is pretty shitty. Terrorist hunt was a blast, but anything past that was not very fun and just frustration for me. Graphics are pretty shit overall, and it just feels "clunky".

dunno might give it a couple more days but as of right now, its like playing a game that should have been released 3 years ago compared to the greatness that is CoD4 even with the shitty grenade spams.

I recently started playing more search and destroy and it really is a different game... most of the gripes I have with CoD4 are not present in S&D. There still is some nade spam but it dies out really quick considering people only have one life per round... every rush point at round start is nade spammed but that's at least predictable and avoidable.

Although I do hate the waiting, it seems like they balanced everything, including the maps, with S&D in mind. It actually explains a lot... though I think balancing it for S&D (probably due to the success of Counter-Strike) is a bit of a shame since I really enjoy sabotage/headquarters and the fast paced action. Judging by the player counts I'd say most of the players agree.

After playing a little of both, I prefer CoD4 for multiplayer. The controls feel more responsive, but mostly it's the maps of V2 that I don't like. They are small and not very exciting.

Im addicted to RB6 again, much like I was the 1st one. Its amazing that Im having more fun in Terrorist Hunt with everyone than I was currently having in CoD4. If I get back into the multiplayer I will only be showing for CoD4 HQ matches and thatll be it.

GTA4 will be a rental at best for me. The first 2 I either played or saw someone play and were real yawners, as most of those types of games were to me. Same thing, different game. This one sounds like it has some multiplayer, but I still doubt I will care for it.
