[M14] Do you prefer the ACOG or the Red Dot on it?

I'm stuck on this decision. Right now I'm attracted to the ACOG, it's been great since the patch. What are your thoughts?

can't help you there, I hate that gun and would rather shit a brick then use it. But since I am going to have to for the damn challenged I will stick to red dot im sure. Acog on that gun cuts out too much of my viewable space for me to like it.

that's one of the reasons i'm still not in love with the ACOG. The gun has really improved since the patch. You'll love it if you love the M16 or G3.

but i fucking hate the m14

but i finished my headshots with it. ive nailed down the m16, ak47, m14 and the g36c in the last 3 days. im half done with the g3 and i suspect itll be a LOT easier than the m14.

I got my headshots pretty fast with the ACOG on the M14.

Depends on the map. The ACOG M14 is best on maps with long sight lines. You will get raped in close quarters. The Red Dot is more all purpose.

I like the M14, but the ACOG got me the Headshots faster for my golden AK. Only weapons I really would use the acog on unless I'm just messing around are some of the sniper rifles.

I only use ACOG on the semi-auto sniper rifles (which I never used except to do achievements) because I can't stand camping and would run and gun with the sniper rifle as a sort of busted up M-14.

The R700 and Barrett are irritating me though and I'm finding it's faster to camp on Ambush or Bog and just snipe to rack up the headshots I need.
