And I was bombed.
But I love to play with Herbie - I wanted to play sax when I was a kid and have transferred that to my guitar playing.
I really do sound like a sax player with a fucked up tone.

Don't bitch too much about the a) lack of volume b) overall hiss level c) shitty mix.

Ya, you need to strip the sax somehow. The tune is hella busy as it is. Simul-soloing works with dixie bands, but with prog-funk-jazz it can be tough unless the band is actually trying for a moment of musical apocalypse or total chaos, usually built-up to that point.

At least you didn't clash with anything in a musical sense when it's possible to decipher guitar from mud, and you do sound like a whalin' guitarist, mon. Now transcribe the sax solo and play it note-for-note over it. ;)

I need to use the guitar port more often.
