not much more damage than 1 sleeve, your body can only process so much

well if your goal is weight loss you undid at least a couple of days of dieting.

Well on Sunday I went to McDonald's and got a large big mac meal + a double cheeseburger.

Ate it all up and I was still hungry and almost made a trip to a sub shop, but I realized if I stopped then, and didn't eat for the rest of the day I'd still be under or around my calories for the day.

So the moral of the story is go right ahead and eat up a box of oreos or whatever just as long as you're cool with starving the rest of the day.

15 cookies = 160 calories x 5

to help offset this lapse i ate two boiled eggs for dinner

instead of tunafish + eggs and a protein shake

and im going running in the morning

everyone does that man

well maybe not 2 whole fucking sleeves, but people cheat diets.

the trick is not to let it make you stop dieting / training all together

eventually you realize eating gross makes training harder and more frustrating.

Starving yourself is only going to make things worse. If you slip up, just eat normally and realize you're going to have to work harder the rest of the week to make up for it.

I think if you have a big meal you're better off limiting your calories the remainder of the day to try to stay near your maintenance calories. Some light low calorie snacks so your body doesn't think you're starving are probably smart.

I actually did end up having some carrots and a small bowl of chili and brown rice later that day.

Edit:

This plays a major factor in it as well. I feel a lot better knowing the day didn't fuck up my week by doing my best to counteract the cheat meal straight away. If I just say fuck, one McDonald's meal can easily turn into a week of eating out.

mentally i just equate 1 cookie/m&m/anything that isn't healthy to gaining 5 pounds of fat

sure it isn't true, but it works for me - the last junk i had was a donut 2 years ago, and now i don't even get tempted by that shit

I have to disagree with the general consensus here. If you are dieting hard, going crazy one day is generally considered good for your diet, shocks your system. I would never recommend eating 2k calories in cookies, but it is really hard to fuck a good diet up in 1 day, what were those cookies calorie total, like 1500? A lot of people 'cheat' and eat a few slices of pizza, which is about 1500 calories anyway

How many cookies are in a sleeve? Like 20?

Don't be such a fatass, control yourself!

Cheat days can help you from giving in and completely binging and then saying fuck it all because you haven't had a taste of cheesy poofs in 60 days.

Anyway, I really see no big problem with them, but do it a lot and it will impact the speed of your progress... if you're in a rush.
