We've VR and Lurker is on farm and we've started Al'ar and Hydross. It's just that we're so casual that we have some fucking useless people among us. :/

We're casual too.

We raid Tuesdays and Wednesday. This Tuesday, we down morogrim for the first time. This Wednesday, we planned on doing Hydross for the first time. I expected a night of wipes since everyone I talk to told me he's the SSC cockblock and gearcheck. We did him in 3 attempts, so I said fuck it. Brought the raid to Fathomlord, while some of us read the strategy. Then did Fathomlord in 3 attempts.

Keep in mind, some of the people in our group have blues, and occasionally, a green too. Casual != Shitty/useless. Shitty, useless players are shitty and useless. :)

So, you should really look into replacing those players with some competent ones. We've gotten pretty lucky. I knew the TW players would be good players. But we got lucky in picking up a couple of very solid and impressive healers by chance and recruitment posts.

Hell, our fourth tank (OT - feral druid) is still using a green helm I believe.

Yeah, I figure former tribes players might know what they're doing. But we have a lot of bad players. I mean all epiced out warlocks and mages averaging 600-700 dps. Rogues the same. We have maybe a core of 10-14 capable players with good gear, and it's pretty frustrating sometimes. Mostly because it's costing me a shitload in consumables :p.

Then again I'm just a member and not a raid leader or anything, but I bet you he/they're fucking pissed of sometimes. They just don't show it.

Yea that really sucks. Blotter's our highest dps at the moment, I think he peaked out at 1300 on Hydross (AE).

Araya's also very good at rogue dps. He was rocking 2 blues, a blinkstrike as his MH, and putting out 1000-1100 dps. Of all our dps classes, I actually put out usually the third lowest to lowest. Combination of the fact that I'm doing lots of things during the fight other than concentrating on dps and that I have no pve gear (mostly pvp epics, with a pvp hunter spec).

I really hate dropping the 50g and everyone's been picking up the slack. So, really, until we hit a wall, I'm not gonna bother respec'ing.

By the way, where do you play? Alliance or horde? Any interest in playing with fellow TW'ers?

~80 is fine if you don't have precision (unless you're harp, you don't).

As for fury warriors, just gem crit/str and don't worry about hit past the 9% cap for specials. Warriors get so much more benefit from crits than rogues do (rage, flurry) that it is an overall better stat for them.

At this point we have so many bosses to work on we haven't gone in to try mag, the loot compared to even killing bosses in ZA seems lacking to take 25 people together for it. I am sure it will be done just to kill time.
The wand is still the best crit wand before Gurtogg Bloodboil for your mages and locks. The head turn in isn't too bad for some people, the trinket is amazing situationally for warlocks and shadowpriests and knowing some of you have greens and blues (hi!) there's probably other items people would gladly take as well.

Compared to Gruul's Lair that has a whole ONE item anyone would ever want, yet we ran it last night again just for that trinket since Sunwell died on us.

I dunno, I think Mag is worth running here and there because it is literally 5 minutes of trash, easy enough for a consistent one shot, has a couple pretty decent items, and you can get the faggy title.

Would people consider 3 nights a week 4 hours a night casual?

That's what my guild does..

illidan guilds clear BT and MH in 2 nights or less, but I wouldn't call them casual

casual is usually just a code word for sucking

or casual is another code word for rolling on a pve server lol
