The ultimate workout incentive...

This is a 100% truth, and will help you in whatever your fitness goals are. The steps are simple:

1) Break-up with your two year girlfriend, only to realize since you've had a girlfriend your attention to eating and fitness were slim.

----- 1a) This is coupled by your lack of womanizing week after week due to previous lack of caring in your sheltered, worry-free world you lived in pre-break-up.

2) Stop smoking.

3) Listen to music that gets you mad at your previous faults and gets you determined to land some top shelf pussy.

4) Eat better, lift more, and continue to reinforce spiteful thoughts.

I will be coming out with a book that will be one page long shortly.

Also, Rayn I hate you for your deadlift/squat support that made me incorporate them into my routine. That being said, I love you much more than I hate you.

I feel your pain, I'm at a point where I hate squats right now, but I gotta do 'em. I am still enjoying deadlifts, but squats ... oh man I hate em.

or as an alternative, join the Marines like I did so then you know if you don't get in shape, you have a much greater chance of dying

im hooked on working out. i feel like absolute shit if i dont go to the gym. no womenz necessary. although i do use the anger thing, not so much focusing on my previous faults but more on pretending someone stole my tv!

anger\fighting helps me in cardio. Dunno why, I've never been a fighter, but when I am running if I think about boxing or fighting I will run harder for longer.

I'm having so much trouble right now balancing my split.

I do a 3 day split

chest triceps shoulders

core back and biceps

legs

generally it is mon wed fri, then 2 days off, the problem is that core day(deadlifts) and leg day(squats) are so involved in eachother that they fuck eachother up, and even carry to the chest and tri day(top half of power clean)

for example, monday I did core back, and had a great day, but wednesday I wasn't fully recovered, I still had a good workout, but my weight went down pretty bad on squat. The best thing I can think of right now is putting chest\tri inbetween those days, only reason I haven't is I have really been working on upping my bench.

biggest motivation for me is my health

it's great because there are no contradictions

(if someone's motivated by less important ideas then they might workout when they shouldn't or whatever)

ive been going crazy lately though. new job. busy as shit. tired as fuck. new girl. and sick for the 4th time in like 2 months. not to mention financial issues.

BUT AT LEAST I HAVE MY HEALTH :)

I work out simply because it feels great and is good for you. Also if I didn't eat right/work out a lot in my profession I'd be a big hypocrite.

I love everything about working out except for squats.

YouTube - Warhawk Matt Scott in Nike 'No Excuses' Commercial (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obdd31Q9PqA)

That's pretty good motivational vid.

I really don't have problems with motivation. There are so many things I want to be able to do, and I know I need to work out alot to do those things. So I am set!

I did the hardest HIIT I've ever done on Friday.

On the way to the gym Wanderlei Silva's entrance song came on the radio and I just got hyped as fuck and decided I was going to sprint as hard as i possibly could.

I really wanted to puke about 10 minutes after I finished and it gave me a wicked headache, but it feels good to push your body as hard as you can.

Actually ive heard it said many times that when you finish a workout, you should feel refreshed (obviously tired too but ...), not like you're going to throw up.
