The New Hybrid: Hydrogen-Electric? (http://www.eetimes.com/showArticle.jhtml?article ID=206801669)

Front Page Article (http://www.tribalwar.com/news/5312-The-New-Hybrid-Hydrogen-Electric.html)

A start-up is saying that it has a new and highly efficient nano-method to yank the hydrogen out of water. They claim you could do it at home or even in the car. I'd imagine that the big oil companies are going to land hard on this technology. It'll be interesting to see if they are around in five years.

Found this gem on Slashdot. (http://hardware.slashdot.org/hardware/08/02/27/1834219.shtml)

With hundreds of billions in profits every quarter, you bet your ass they'll be around; probably throwing that same money at companies to keep this kind of technology from the market.

Another firm claims that they can generate electricity in clothing by someone wearing it. They claim to use the piezo-electric effect on a nano scale.
