Sry, this is a repeat of a General thread, but I forgot we had a fitness forum...

My wife and I met with a nutritionist Monday and he put us on individually specific diets that include protein suppliments, namely protein bars and powder.

My question is: Where do you get your protein supps? And what kinds/brands do you prefer and why?

Here's the nutritionist that I saw, his website.
The Diet Doc

His internet clientel are mainly body builders, so his site is oriented that way, but locally his main business is weightloss/life nutrition/fitness education.

Anyway, where to get the protein?

GNC. Yes, I spend extra money, oh well.

I try to justify it by saying that's where I get my multivitamin. One-stop shopping cancels out the fact that I spend extra cash for my whey (the GNC stuff tastes good as hell, too).

Kroger recently had the body fortress 100% whey for $10 a bottle.
