Ugh, havent been able to stick to a full workout for days, I just dont have the energy for it. I'm eating decently, taking vitamins, water intake is at least a gallon over the course of the day... I'm getting carbs and fats so I dont get why I'm so damn tired lately. Anything I can try to get me up and running again?

about 4 to 6 hours a night.

If its sleep, I should have had this problem all last week, not starting the weekend (pager duty, up at fucking 4am every day till we fixed shit for sat+sun, +plus random issues all night).

I'll give it a shot tonight, see if I feel better tomorrow.

Try 6-8 hours a night. 4 is like torture.

Yeah, probably should aim for a bit more than just 4-6 hours of sleep man. If you're having trouble falling asleep, probably should go to a doctor for help/prescribed sleeping pills or something.

Once you get your sleep cycle back on track, working daily, living an active lifestyle, and putting in 30 minutes - 1 hour at the gym should knock you right out once you get home, no? For me personally, after the gym, I finish the last little bit of my shake, shower up, and fall asleep within 10-15 minutes (I go after classes and such, around 8-9 at night, 5 days a week. I hit the gym early Saturday mornings).

The stress induced from lack of sleep can build up over time (think the main relevant hormone is cortisol?), so it makes perfect sense that your slight to moderate lack didn't show any physiological effects until now.

Try and get a nice 9 or 10 hour night of sleep and then go back to the usual 7-8.

Of course you're tired all the time, you sleep 4-6 hours a night.

Sleep! Nothing is going to fix your fatigue if you're chronically undersleeping.

You have to replace most of the sleep you missed sooner or later before you start to feel relief. I mean, tired all the time screams not sleeping, this is coming from a lifelong insomniac. Exercise and sleep cured almost all my chronic health problems including fatigue.

I was getting 3 - 5 hours of sleep each night for about a month. I started thinking I was hearing things, I was seeing after images of everything I looked at, no matter how long, I wasn't hungry very much, and my anxiety was through the roof. I actually went to a psych because I thought I was going schizophrenic. Turns out I had sleep deprivation. Everything that can go wrong with your brain and body, will go wrong, if you don't sleep enough. I can't stress enough how important it is.

Starting to come back from this, been eating better, getting more exercise, and sleeping longer.

I'm now 195, after another hiatus from working out due to this, hoping I dont plateau again.
