If this is for 2.4 then okay, but I just found this. I actually like shaman, warrior, and druid, the rest are meh. Warlock and mage sharing the same model shows Blizz is running out of steam.

They're the AQ sets (and not even sets) of BC chief.

Priest/lock/mage= T4 Druid

Rogue = T4 warlock

Druid = same as mage/lock/priest ?

Hunter/Shaman= looks somewhat original except for the helm

Warrior = T3 hunter

Paly = BE version of Lightforge

The mage/lock/priest, hunter/shaman crap happened with tier 2.5

-granted, I only watched the small version of this and maybe they look better in game but ya, hope this is somthing ala the blue sets in BC

There's no such thing as class armor from sunwell. Every armor type (cloth/leather/mail/plate) has it's own look regardless of what class wears it with the skins being pallate shifted depending on purpose (or for the new season 4 arena stuff). A priest wearing the damage cloth is going to look the same as a warlock wearing it, because it's the exact same armor.

Excluding the bracer/belt/boot pieces which round out the existing tier 6, which are obviously still class based.

That is one of the most misinformed, whiny soundtracked POS videos I've seen so far. Seriously.

It suits that Feannag posted it.

I really hope the leather melee dps suit is the bright blue/green one as shown in that video. That would mean the rogue S4 will be the slightly less-retarded looking gold/red one. Overall, those armors suck except for the plate.

Meh, I was linked to a Sunwell preview vid from which I guess people on PTR were filming it and this one was in the related video sidebar. Maybe something to keep the hardcore raiders hoping they'll be more superior than the welfare epic crowd now? :shrug:

I still like the T6 priest gear, shamans have some decent looking sets all the way along, the warlock T6 looked better in pictures then it does in game. I haven't like the look of any of the hunter or druid sets.

They just go with themes and don't stress how cool the armor looks as long as it fits in lore side of the game.

probably saving it for the next expansion

The armor for the expansion looks retarded mostly because the artists seem determined to outland-ify everything with glowing crystals and arcane lightning rods and voidwalker blackhole things. I wonder if they even looked at the hunter and paladin sets in-game sometimes. Some of it they've been ok about, the warrior usually looks suitably like a brick wall (even though the t4 looked pretty stupid imo, he still looked reasonably tough). Every now and then something like the warlock t5 slips through that looks good for the class.

Hopefully when all the action heads back to azeroth with the next expansion we'll see some more classic looking warcraft armor, and everybody will stop running around looking like fucking spacemen from the year 3000 in what's supposed to be a swords and magic sort of game.

That should be the test to see if art makes it live. If you put on a rocket helmet and you look like you're from outer space they just scrap it and redo it.

The Hunter one looks like crap (this coming from someone who hasn't seen all the sets) the Priest, Pally, and Shaman look trick.

meh I dont think it matters what the armor looks like

When you see somebody in tier 7 and dont really care thats not good.

Before BC when you had epics you stood out, even on a server with tons of raiding guilds getting full sets and some of the end boss loot was somewhat rare.

Now its just hey everyone has epics, they all look the same, hurray level playing field?

Remember how amazing Tier 2 was pre-bwl?

T2 paladin was clearly the best looking paladin set, it's a shame they all got gayed up in Oultands. When I get around to getting those last 5 levels to 70 on my pally I don't think he'll be anything more than mining/skinning gatherer. Maybe I'll work for S1/Vind but doubtful.

T6 > T2. Sorry. They got the Holy Warrior thing right with T6.
