In regards to PC sales being stronger than consoles...

Doug Lombari: I'd say significantly stronger, at least a two-digit percentage increase over the console sales. And that includes Steam sales, retail sales, and now individual sales of Portal, Team Fortress 2, and Half-Life 2: Episode 2. So when you take the PC numbers for The Orange Box a la carte, they're significantly higher."

In the same vein Company of Heroes developer, Josh Mosqueira, noted that total Steam sales of CoH were roughly equivalent to the number of copies sold at Best Buy. Unfortunately, he also went on to state that the number of people downloading patches is 'substantially' greater than the number of people that have purchased the game.

:shrug: Already played Half Life on PC so why buy it for 360? Not to mention TF2 is boring after about 10 hours on 360 since theres so few maps. Portal was fun, but wouldnt be worth the purchase.

Well, despite CoH's anti piracy measures, people will still find a way around it. I own the game and just figured out tonight how to play over hamachi with 2.x patch. I would still own the game if I knew how to lan a pirated copy of CoH but the one thing that pisses me off about CoH is it's relic servers and how you have to be constantly connected to relic to play online and when relic goes down, so does your game. Regardless of where you're at in the game. Not to mention some pretty shitty net code or if it's the fact you're game is always relaying through relic. Thank you hamachi.

Good to hear, but I really wish they reduced the price of the game on Steam. No retail fees, packaging, etc and you don't have the ability to resell the product. That has to be worth something especially for a game like Bioshock.
