Basically deleted from COD4: Anyone experience this problem

I ranked up to 55, was staying there I didnt want to do prestige. 3 weeks ago on a Thursday I play everything is cool, I leave for the weekend. Turn the game on that Monday, it loads fine, xbox live is fine, but when I get into the server select screen it shows me as a rank 1 and it isnt updating...

I think weird, look in leaderboards, shows me as a rank 55, and the rank where I was at...well I try to join a server, still shows me a rank 1 in the loading screen but I can talk and see everyone else. As SOON as the select a class screen loads I get booted, get the "lobby closed" message, and then "player kicked" message right after. I try about 20 times in TD with the same result, try the other 2 game modes you get as a rank 1 and same result. Basically I cant join a server.

Call Xbox they say they are going to work on it, 2 weeks go by, multiple phone calls then they finally have me call Activision. I emailed them, they emailed me back saying they are working on it....as of now almost 3.5 weeks its still not working.

I took my xbox to a friends house thinking it was connection or router or something but same result. He recovered my gamertag on his elite and same result...its like they deleted me off IF's server.

Curious if anyone else has heard of this shit.

Only time I have anything like that happen is when I first join xbox live and it takes a minute to load my ranking sometimes at least. Can't say it's gone any farther than that though. Since you took it to a friends house and had the same problem I have no idea what is wrong with your game.
