kwolf 02-22-2008, 12:53 AM ... and EA just took the WAR release date off the calendar. --chaingun 02-22-2008, 01:18 PM Cool! And WAR has so much more to offer in PvP, I'm sorry you're delusional :( kwolf 02-22-2008, 07:15 PM You're wrong ... PvP is very restricted in WAR and going to be wide open in AoC. Dalmar 02-23-2008, 04:40 AM If you want a TW regiment for AoC, get your own sub-forum. kwolf 02-23-2008, 09:55 PM rabid fanboism for an early beta game?? okay  Oxyminoan 02-24-2008, 12:48 AM Ridiculously hypocritical trolling for an early beta game?? okay  --chaingun 02-24-2008, 01:31 PM rabid fanboism for an early beta game?? okay  Yep, we're almost fanboy enough to start trolling on a competing game's forum! FalseMyrmidon 02-24-2008, 04:09 PM I'm in both the AoC and WAR betas. I play the WAR beta a lot more and AoC is much further along. I don't like AoC's combat system and the levelling up process is pretty boring. I don't know when you get to see PVP but I wasn't seeing any of it by level 10. Supposedly you don't even get out of newbie land until level 20. Have fun with AoC, bye. Dalmar 02-24-2008, 09:38 PM I won't disagree that AoC looks cool, but I think WAR will end up coming together as a better product in the long run. Just look at AO and DAoC: AO looks a little better and still has a lot of the same weird mechanics that will never change and if something has changed its usually for the worse. Whereas; DAoC has made VAST changes and improvements, graphically and gameplay wise (despite the imbalances of some of the classes). Tritonz 02-25-2008, 05:10 AM They both look good. I'll be trying out both. But Warhammer will have a much larger player base. d0ggy 02-26-2008, 04:34 AM I will be playing both, hopefully 1 comes out months before the other ;P --chaingun 02-26-2008, 10:19 AM I can see WaR being delayed for a long time, though there is speculation that it's going to be released sometime in June. I personally don't see that happening...I'm thinking more like fall or even early 09 but idk. I think AoC is slated for May right now, so I think there's a good chance you'll be able to play AoC until WAR comes out and then go from there...I'm considering doing that myself Dalmar 02-26-2008, 12:09 PM I'll definitely be trying out AoC, but when WAR arrives... adios! GreenDookie 02-26-2008, 11:07 PM Rumor of Warhammer having no Release Date proven wrong - Warhammer Forums (http://www.warhammeralliance.com/forums/showthread.php?p=682480#6 82480) Heimdal 02-26-2008, 11:16 PM think i'll have to go with war for pvp. daoc was the best for pvp, and interviews seem to show that that's what they are focusing on in war. aoc is uh, well yeah. if it comes out before war then i might give it a try. otherwise i don't see it as being a game i'd play long term. {FSC}Godfather 02-27-2008, 01:30 PM ive said it before but id only consider AOC if 360 and PC players ore on the same server Would be nice to buy it for 360 and then just download it for PC and be able to play either on my couch or on my PC cheezit 02-27-2008, 11:10 PM ive said it before but id only consider AOC if 360 and PC players ore on the same server Would be nice to buy it for 360 and then just download it for PC and be able to play either on my couch or on my PC i woudl definately have to buy it in that case, but i think this is a longshot. Slobax 03-08-2008, 12:44 AM i jumped off the WAR fanboy bandwagon when they keep pushing it back I got AoC collector's on pre-order bitches ResolvE 03-09-2008, 12:22 AM i have a feeling that AoC is going to end up like Shadow Bane did, great idea just a very bad execution when it was released. {FSC}Godfather 03-10-2008, 11:19 PM March 10, 2008 - Will your computer have to be a Hyborian beast to run this game?
