what are your best maps?

My fav is crossfire or Pipeline. I've never lost of crossfire, anytype of game in over 700 games. I love Pipeline. You can play it in so many different types of styles that all work. I got my biggest kill streak in Pipeline.

Yesterday I was on countdown with a R700 in a groundwar. I got 65 kills to 3 deaths. Some times its impossible for a sniper to do anything in this but I got lucky with the teams.

You must not play crossfire on HQ.

I can tell you what my least favorite map is. Winter crash. I fucking hate that bastard of a map.

Is Winter crash a 360 map? Or a user created PC map? Does 360 have anymore more extra maps if any?

Winter Crash is Crash at night with Christmas decorations. Not on 360 and no other original release maps are on 360, other than the map pack they are getting to release.

Overgrown.....anyways im done with COD4. The hacking has gone to a new level and you can see it when kill cam kicks in as the guy who kills you is twitching to the next target with all head shots. FPS gaming is going to the dumps when hacks over run it. I uninstalled it yesterday. Ill see what legions brings or wait for the next big FPS.

Play compeitively in leagues like CAL or CEVO and you'll see alot less hacking.
But then again, the people you're accusing probably just had good shots.

I've only seen a definite hacker once. He had about 80 kills and I think 4 deaths. He would get a head shot and then jump 90 degrees and get another head shot. That just kept going. There have been a few other times where I have thought something was a little odd, but nothing definitive.

Anyway, I like district and I usually do pretty well on that. I tend to sneak around with the UAV jammer and that map allows for that the best.

The more funny part about it all is that people actually think its easy to pick out an even remotely smart cheater. I know people that have cheated from T:V, SoF2, CS, and now CoD4 on pretty good teams, that have never even been considered for it. Its not hard to use things like Wallhack without being caught. Its also not hard to aim at someone and then hit the Auto Headshot button and it run straight up to hit their head and look like its recoil. The only ones that make it obvious are either dumb or just dont give a shit.

So what's the deal with cheats on the 360/consoles. I've heard they aren't possible, but I find that pretty hard to believe. Not saying there are any right now, but once enough competitive players switch over it's only a matter of time before something is found.

Like I said before from a casual pubbing standpoint, the 360 has the PC beat. The only thing I wonder about on the 360 is getting killed through the smoke occasionally. But with the auto aim and being able to see radar it's not too far fetched to think the guy(s) just got a lucky shot.

You have to use a modded xbox and sooner or later it will get caught and banned from live. When enough complaints have been filed for cheating, they will be investigated to whether they are using a modded xbox or not as well.

Auto aim?

Yea, auto aim in on the consoles and is the most annoying, worthless crap Ive ever seen. Theres no way to turn it off. Its not like the PC auto aim hacks though. They should actually call it drag aim since all it does is drag your sites away from your target when someone runs in front of them.

Yeah I'm not talking about autoaim as far as cheats go. What I can't even begin to understand is if you have the option to turn it off in single player why the hell wouldn't you have that same option in multiplayer. It's one of the many things that this game confuses me on.

the funny thing is it hinders my aim more then it helps. I can't count on 10 pairs of hands how many times Ive had a headshot lined up, some random fucktard runs in front of me and then the curser drags to the direction he is running.

And doesnt even drag on him! So youre left with your scope stuck between two people. :mad:

its annoying as hell but there have been a fair amount of times where auto aim slightly dragged my cursor and i was able to fire off a burst into smoke or other spots where i couldnt see that well and rack up a kill

but in general its trash
