Elemental was dumb in 5v5. Some kinda of nerf was needed - shamans had way too much damage potential. However, the main problem is that was really the only bracket they were useful in - although, I guess resto sham/ret pally/warr is a pretty good comp nowadays. I'm not sure if this nerf was the right way to go about it, but something needed to be done.

Meh, I considered my burst in 5s the tradeoff for being so easily locked down by most classes. Oh well, I guess this shouldn't surprise me at all. Good thing I've got a druid and hunter to run arenas on.

At least our Tremor Totem pulses every 3 seconds and our Poison Cleansing Totem pulses every 5?

I'm glad I never got too much into arena on my shaman, I guess I'll just use my points to buy offspec (enh) gear.

What is this nerf you speak of? I don't see anything major other than losing 1%crit on lbolts...

i wonder how that'll change mutilate vs combat daggers for raid damage. i always thought my mutilate build was fun. it's certainly potentially hilarious for random world pvp.

With the 500 new daggers in Sunwell, I might try out combat dagger or mutilate for raiding. Sword Spec is my favorite though.
