I've basically split my daily food intake to 400~ cals @ 5 times per day (fit around my class schedule) but I'm having trouble finishing/eating enough at each sitting.
ie: oatmeal, I'll make 300~ cals worth and a glass of skim milk/pure fruit juice/protein shake (usually ~100 cals per drink) but seem to fill up before I can finish all the food.
Or even right now as I'm eating. I have about 8 oz of baked chicken, 3-4 oz steamed red potatoes and green beans.
Any tips/ideas? should I make smaller portions but with more calories? My goal is weight loss at the moment, so I can't just load up on whole milk, fruits, peanut butter, etc.
Edit: This was something I just thought of after I finished posting this: I'm not supposed to go below like 1500-1600 cals per day, but should I stop if I'm not hungry? I could easily just eat like 1500 and feel fine, but I'm currently forcing myself to finish most of it.
