Interview + (New) Footage [Gamespot]

I'll admit I was expecting more "action" from that gameplay footage.

Same here. I was hoping to see at least a 5v5 to see the different classes working together. Oh well, as long as they balance the game for pvp I will be happy.

I dont even care about gfx, copy wow for all I care its better to have more comps that can actually run it.

I sure as hell am way past the day where I would upgrade my PC to play a game, If its fun older gfx wont matter at all

I didnt read the thread but the combat in that video looks like ass....Vanguards looked better

I'll admit that watching DAoC "combat videos" can be really boring/unimpressive.

But when you're actually controlling your character and manipulating each action, DAoC's system is much more satisfying from the cockpit.

I think the same will apply to WAR.

There was an interview where a DEV said the game will be like a hobby in the sense that if you put a lot of time into it, you will be rewarded, but at the same time, he wanted the game to not be gear dependent to the point where someone who plays casually doesn't stand a chance at all.

Idealistic but still possible IMO...

I just don't want to be forced to wear a certain gear to PvP like WoW.
