Hutners are getting fucked in the arse by this, especially with the new drinking "buff".

On the plus side, druids are loosing their 15% speed debuff.

losing the speed bonus isn't as big a deal as most druids will make on the forums, i think. but what they replaced it w/ is pretty ridiculous. it makes me wonder about blizzard sometimes

He's mad that resilience hurts mana burn effects now.

Not exactly mad, but kinda disappointed, while i wouldn't cry for hunter buffs i certainly wouldn't cry for nerfs in the only setup were arena wise worth anything.

That's such absolute bullshit. I'm looking forward to getting my main arena tool nerfed by 15-23%.

A lot of people are happy about this cause of Priest's mana burn.

nice!

Makes PVP gear viable against drain teams. It used to be a healer in full PVE gear that was ideal :)

It's a legitimate balance fix.

Cry more.

QQ more, seriously. You think any of the hunters or rogues or warriors didn't do this when resilience reduced their crit chance? It was only a matter of time before resilience comes to impair everything you can potentially do to a player, that's what they call "balance". Whether it is or not remains to be seen, but the point is Blizzard probably feels this is the easiest fix for the PvP/PvE divide.

As far as I know a priest mana burn isn't considered a drain.

I can't help but laugh a little as they continue to make resilience a bandaid catchall stat to stack if you want to avoid pvp gayness. And between the last nerf to drain mana, and the new buff I think maybe they need to make up their mind. Either that or just give up and just create a class of PvE only spells like shadowbane did. It's pretty clear they don't want people using certain tactics in PvP.

Revamped is accurate. It shifted the focus from trying to out-gun each other with bigger and better weapons and more +damage and +crit, to trying to out-survive each other. In essense it just changed the main concern from weapons to armor. I can't help but think that they're just stringing people along. Since the inception of that stat, how much time have people invested trying to farm new gear and balance it with the old stats?

Sooner or later they'll shuffle the deck again and everybody will need to go farm a bunch of new stuff to stay competative.
