We have long held the belief that HD DVD is the best format for consumers based on quality and value, and with more than 1 million HD DVD players on the market, it's unfortunate to see Netflix make the decision to only stock Blu-ray titles going forward. While the Best Buy announcement says they will recommend Blu-ray, at least they will continue to carry HD DVD and offer consumers a choice at retail.

At least if you bought HD-DVD you know for the next year or so all the movies will be cheap and you can still enjoy teh HD until Blu-Ray comes down in price... :)

Pretty pitiful response by Toshiba and HD-DVD. Ya gotta wonder if when Sony sold them the factories to make cell chips for the PS3, that some kind of deal went down. Like "you can make our cell chips but your HD-DVD must die"....

2008, year of the BR. And here I'm stuck with a 360.....what am I suppose to do? :shrug:
