tdubs match Friday, February 15 8:30 PM EST

After 5 forfeits, we finally have a scheduled match! The maps are Vacant, Overgrown, and Bloc. The last 2 definately aren't my favorites, but we'll figure something out. Wednesday at 8:30 EST, we will have a practice, and hopefully everyone can make it for the match.

Also, I haven't been on much lately for the past few weeks and I apologize for that. Unfortunately, school and my triathlon times dipped during my time playing cod4 all the time, so I had to cool it off. I'll still be on, but not nearly as much. Because of this, I've promoted everyone to captain. If someone with more time on their times wants to take the reigns, let me know. Otherwise I will still manage the team, but I can't invest alot of time into it.

I'll be there. Should we discuss strats on this board or somewhere else? Also, Vacant and Bloc? Jesus Christ, this is going to be a boring ass first match.

I guess Vacant isn't really boring. I just don't like the map much because all of the nade spamming. But, yeah, I guess it is a pretty fun map.

Overgrown, again, not too sure. Based on these choices I'm assuming they're snipers which means smg/extreme conditioning for me.

A little imput from games Ive played since this is your first one. Just remember that each team can only have one sniper and one rpg or noob tube a game, so their whole team cant snipe. Also dont bother with uav jammers as there is no air support in TWL rules. I had this on my SMG set up and realized it once the game started in my first one. :( Team Damage is on as well. No martyrdom on TDM and you have to be careful about the nade tosses. Id definitely put one person guading the back door on Vacant with a nube tube. Be sure to look over the maps before the game and make sure you know what side you want on Vacant and Bloc. I forgot in one of our first games and we started out on the shitty side of one map. :-/

Overgrown is all about the "B" house, or so the couple of times weve played it. Seems like both teams have tried to take it and kill from the upstairs windows on the 2nd floor and a couple outside around the building guarding them. If this happens then try and get to the broken house turret and shoot wildly through the building. Its actually a decent strat if you can do it first. You would need to call out people incoming though.

Also, Bloc was random as the 3rd map...unlucky for you guys. :P I despise that map, although Id go silencers and camp a building with one sniper. If you choose to move Id go in teams of two though and flank buildings with silencers.

No one showed. Fortunately for the other team, no one showed except for thier leader. We have rescheduled for Sunday 9pm est (6pm pst).

Instead of spending another few weeks trying to get players who are interested, I decided to disband the team. I think the month of forfeits and inactivity did us in. A month in xbox terms is like a year in rl terms.
